How did all those Uchiha members use Izanagi?

In order to use Izanagi, don't you need both Uchiha and Senju DNA to use it. How did all those Uchiha use Izanagi? Did they just get blood from the Senju and just transfer it into them or something? I hope Kishi isn't trolling

No...u don't need senju DNA...i think we all got confused cuz danzo had senju. But the reason why we had the senju DNA is to be able to wield 11 sharingans at once without passing out like kakashi.

I think that Senju DNA only makes the jutsu last longer.
Also, a long time ago, Uchiha bloodline was stronger and closer to the sage, maybe that's why they were able to use it more than twice.

We also have Danzou's way, steal Sharingan from dead members and...voila!

Never said Senju DNA was required, it only helped Danzo use the jutsu easier and more efficiently

I mean come on how would they discover the technique in the first place? Some random
Uchiha implants Senju dna into himself for no reason and makes Izanagi ?

I dont think it's needed because if it was the it's sister jutsu would need it and Itachi doesnt have Senju DNA...
